Angelina Jolie back in the running for Salt sequel?

Angelina Jolie is reportedly set to star in a Salt sequel!

The actress will reprise her role as Evelyn Salt for Salt 2 after Sony Pictures commissioned writer Kurt Wimmer to press ahead with a screenplay.

Angelina has always been open about wanting to do a sequel because she thinks there is more to discover from her character.

“I’d love to do a sequel. You never know if you’re going to get the chance, if audiences are going to love it. But particularly with this character, I think there is so much yet to explore in her life with her with her family, with coming to terms with who she is in the end, because of the way it’s set up, she could be anybody,” she said.

“She could be in any country, she could speak any language, and so we have a lot of opportunities.

“As an actress, and somebody who loves to travel, it would be nice to be able to explore the world with her.”

Meanwhile, Jolie says she isn’t “discussing” having more children with Brad Pitt.

“We’re always open if it feels right, but we have a full house and at the moment, nothing has come clear to us,” she said.

“It’s the same, I suppose, as when somebody decides to get pregnant, there’s just a moment where something becomes clear to you and, at the moment, that’s not what we’re discussing.”
