Short Hairstyles Fashion Photos

Choosing very short hairstyles is a bold move by the individual that is seeking to draw attention to their features.

In order to pull off the very short hairstyles that are created the individual must have small and distinct facial features. This traditional thought can be changed with various short hairstyles that have been created.

There are some very short hairstyles that can be made appropriate for individuals with larger or more prominent facial features. Bangs or larger wisps of hair and even layered very short hairstyles can be used to disguise these prominent hairstyles.

In some cases, there are styles that can be pulled off, regardless of the hairstyles that have been chosen by the individual. These styles include short to medium length hair that has volume, rather than straight hair. Once small curls or waves are added to the hairstyle the individual can begin to experiment with very short hair to find a style that works for them.

There are many benefits to choosing very short hairstyles, such as the hairstyles being easy to manage. The hairstyles can be created within a matter of moments and often require no other styling tools but the fingers in combination a variety.

Ultimate Sexiest Beast Edward Cullen vs Damon Salvatore

So EW is less than three days away from crowning their “Ultimate Sexiest Beast”. Their two final contenders: Edward Cullen (Robert Pattison) from Twilight and Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) from The Vampire Diaries (which was written first!). While they both have their charms, as I write this they are at 50/50. I find it a little nerve racking because I am rooting one over the other. But for the sake of sounding unbiased, here’s some tid bits on the both of the candidates.

Sexy Beast: Being “sexy” or attractive period doesn’t always have to do with looks. People obviously can have sexy bodies, smiles, smirks, glares, voices, or eyes, but that’s not always the determining factor. Personalities have a lot to do with it and how you carry yourself. If you’re sexy, you’ve got to be confident in that fact. But “beast” is the thing that makes the choice a little more clearer for me. Being vampires makes them both qualified for that term, but if you’re a “beast” there’s got to be some ferociousness to you and some toughness. It’s not about strength. It’s about that inner monster
My Choice: Absolutely 100% Damon. Ian’s really got something with that character. I never thought much of Ian on Lost as Boone as far as looks and the character of Damon is a complete turn around. Plus, his body is A LOT better than Rob’s.

Team Damon: Damon Salvatore is probably the greatest thing about The Vampire Diaries. It’s really bad when you root for the bad boy to get with the good girl, but I find it hard to stop myself from rooting for Damon. I would have never guessed that Ian Somerhalder would have pulled off such a fantastic job.
Cons: I can’t think of one that would take away his sexiness. As far as his personality, he’s not the guy you wanna bring home to mom and dad...or invite in the house period.
He’s devilish, charming, sexy, sarcastic, has smoldering good looks, a great body, and he’s a real vampire. He’s a bad boy, but he’s smart and everything he’s ever done has been for the love of his life. He’s twisted, but he’s sweet in his own sick way. There are lots of other great characters on The Vampire Diaries so to say that Damon carries the show would be unfair, but it’s obvious that it would be seriously lacking.
It’s about that inner monster.
My Choice: Absolutely 100% Damon. Ian’s really got something with that character. I never thought much of Ian on Lost as Boone as far as looks and the character of Damon is a complete turn around. Plus, his body is A LOT better than Rob’s.
Cons: Sparkling is so not sexy. If someone wants to refer to The Cullen family as beautiful, that would be completely acceptable. Sure Edward does have some sex appeal, but the only thing “beastly” about him is that he’s a vampire. I don’t mean to knock Stephanie Meyer’s vampire mythology. She can write whatever she wants about vampires. However, it’s just not sexy.

I’m pulling for Damon to win. I’ve already voted. I hope he wins, because I think if Edward won it would just be because of his fans that aren’t truly considering the criteria. By definition, I think Damon should take this victory.

Xerium Technologies Receives Continued Listing Standards Notice from the NYSE

RALEIGH, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Xerium Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: XRM), a leading global manufacturer of industrial textiles and rolls used primarily in the paper production process, today announced that on November 18, 2009, it received notification from the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) that it was not in compliance with an NYSE standard for continued listing of the Company’s common stock on the exchange. Specifically, the Company is considered below criteria by the NYSE because the average closing price of the Company’s common stock was less than $1.00 per share over a consecutive 30 trading day period.

This notification represents the second instance that the Company was not in compliance with this criterion during the past twelve months. On December 29, 2008, the Company was first notified by the NYSE that, in addition to not being in compliance with this criterion, the Company was also not in compliance with continued listing criteria under Section 802.01B of the Listed Company Manual because its average total market capitalization was less than $75 million over the same consecutive 30 trading day period, and its most recently reported stockholders’ equity was less than $75 million. In February 2009, the NYSE submitted to the Securities and Exchange Commission an immediately effective rule filing that reduced these amounts to $50 million, respectively. The Company cured the first instance of noncompliance under the $1.00 share price listing standard as of June 29, 2009, which represented the end of the six-month cure period prescribed by NYSE rules.

In February 2009, the Company submitted a plan advising the NYSE of definitive actions the Company has taken, or proposed to take, that would bring it into compliance with the market capitalization listing standards within 18 months of receipt of the initial letter, which is June 29, 2010. The Company continues to provide the NYSE with quarterly updates to this submitted plan. Such quarterly updates include detailed commentary and description of the actions the Company is taking with its lenders in order to resolve the financial covenant non-compliance under its senior credit facility for the period ended September 30, 2009, which is presently waived through December 15, 2009. The Company believes that the covenant noncompliance is negatively affecting the Company’s share price and market capitalization.

The NYSE is reviewing the second instance of noncompliance under the $1.00 share price standard in connection with its broader assessment of the Company’s progress on this previously submitted 18-month business plan in order to determine the appropriate action concerning the Company. The NYSE is continuing to monitor and assess the situation with the Company. Depending on the circumstances, the NYSE could truncate the procedures outlined in Section 802.01C that would otherwise be applicable to companies that are not in compliance with the share price standard, or it may initiate suspension or delisting procedures concerning the Company. Additionally, the NYSE may also take accelerated listing action in the event that the Company’s common stock were to trade at levels deemed to be abnormally low over a sustained period of time or in the case of other material adverse developments.

The Company’s business operations, credit agreement and Securities and Exchange Commission reporting requirements are unaffected by this notice.
